MASSAGE METHODS

Ready now for the massage experience you truly desire?
Swedish Massage - traditional method using long connective strokes, kneading and percussive movements to create a very relaxing and gentle massage. This massage helps to dilate blood vessels, improves circulation and relieves congestion in the tissues. It improves digestion, relaxes muscle spasm and relieves tension. Swedish massage provides a sense of connection and wholeness to the mind and spirit.
Healing Stone Massage - Hot or cold stones are strategically used and placed to greatly enhance a massage. These stones are on loan from a nearby riverbed and gathered with prayers of gratitude under the shimmering light of a rainbow. They have a profound grounding and nurturing effect on the body.
Orthopedic Massage - uses a wide variety of techniques for the most effective treatment for a chronic condition or recent injury. Some of the techniques are myofascial release, neuromuscular reeducation, structure balancing, scar tissue realignment and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) stretching in an order that effects the greatest improvement.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)- There are four times the amount of lymph fluids as there is blood in the body. Lymph fluid is constantly moving around in the body. It is through lymphatic drainage of the cells, tissues and organs that cleansing largely occurs. So the quality of health depends on the quality of your lymph fluid.
The movement and drainage is accomplished by using light pumping, subtle vibration and drainage techniques for all the tissues, muscles and joints. Lymphatic drainage begins by clearing first the congestion from the upper body and stomach area then goes to the limbs. Often, as the stagnant lymph is cleared, so will the stagnant emotions clear too.
